Fragment series is an attempt to re-emerge the value of the use of fragmentary pieces fro marble making processing. The marble fragments that inevitably come out of the process of marble making processing fall in the value of use, leaving most of them abandoned as industrial waste. However, we thought that the marble fragment is a beautiful material that is not artificially machined. we intended to convey the unique beauty of the material by using marble fragment and resin.

 

Rather than planning the form and structure in detail from the start, this side table was crafted using an approach of layering marble fragments and reconstructing shapes and structures by following the broken outlines. The material reveals a sense of depth depending on the light, while its organic curves evoke a variety of atmospheres from different angles.
